THE ARRIVAL. A little did I expect but our adventure at Isla Gigantes turns out to be a big surprise! Fun and excitement began when we took a boat ride from Estancia port to Gigantes which lasted for almost 2 hours. It was quiet an exhausting ride but I was fully energized when we reached the place. It was low tide when we arrived and so the boat can’t come any closer to the shore so we need to take a ride with a “balsa” and it was super fun! There were two men who were pushing the balsa off to shore with at least 10 (or more, I think) passengers standing on it. Those two men were submerged under water, walking and pushing the balsa and it was like watching a pirate of Caribbean movie (you know the part that the pirates were walking under water?)! haha, and you could imagine how scared we are that the balsa might capsize.
