DIYS AND CUT-OUTS. Before I continue with my #7thblissQuest entries, let me first introduce to you the dress I have DIY-ed and wore on my third day in Singapore. And since you have already had a glimpse of it on the previous post, let me share to you how I did it. Also, since I have no official photographer on this trip, I don't have any actual outfit shots. So here, I randomly gathered these photos from our day trip which will give you a clue on whats coming next on this blog (*wink).
The dress I am wearing was actually from a thrift store which my sister bought for me long time ago. Originally, it is colored white and looked vintage in style ---the dress-for-church kind of piece! So, it end up sitting on my closet since I am not really fond of vintage pieces. But when this trip materialized, the first thing that crossed my mind was, "I need a new dress! but I have to save my money for some SG shopping!" --- "ahh, no, no, I'll go for DIY" tahahaha. What I did was, I took that dress from my closet, Cut the front part of its skirt and leaving the back untouched so it will have a fish tail effect. Then, bought some dye and viola --an ombre dress! If you want to learn how to dye ombre pieces, watch here.
