PLEATS PLEASE. Remember I told you here that I was able to score a free scent from Beauty Scents PH? Actually I got two. The first one was given to me together with the invite to their grand launch and the second one was the scent of our choice that everyone took home for free. For this post, I am going to talk about the first scent that I got which is called "Pleats Please" by Issey Miyake. Issey Miyake is a Japanese fashion designer famous for his technology-driven designs and fragrances! I mean who doesn't knew him? His works have been worn by numerous famous personalities and legends take for example Steve Jobs. This man is an inspiration! Anyhoo, lets talk about his "Pleats Please" fragrance.

Pleats Please is a blissful, optimistic and cheerful fragrance of "vertically pleated" ornate, fruity and woody structure signed by perfumer Aurelien Guichard. Its opening splashes with Asian hybrid fruit Nashi, produced by crossing apples and pears (pear flavor is the one that dominates). The heart denotes femininity with floral accords of peony and sweet pea, while Indole molecule provides freshness and vigor to the composition. The base is generous with concentrated accords of patchouli, cedar, vanilla absolute and white musk. I am extremely in love with this scent. It speaks of the sweetness of a woman. It smells like I am in the middle of a garden with its flowers in full bloom. And unlike any regular fragrances, it's scent lasts for quite a long time even after I have already washed my clothes. I highly recommend this scent if you are looking for a fragrance that speaks femininity, sweetness and class. Oh, by the way, you can score this at Beauty Scents Store in Sta. Rosa Laguna and avail more of their unbelievable deals. (^-^)
