SKY TOWER. Last November 22, 2014 Solaire Resort and Casino finally unveiled their newest Sky Tower, a spacious and opulent leisure complex encompassing new facilities for living in, gaming, dining and entertainment. The Sky Tower is a 17-storey building that provides 312 all-suite hotel tower; exciting dining options; additional VIP gaming area with access to a fine dining Chinese restaurant and a whisky and cigar bar, lounges and entertainment venues. It could also accommodate 3000 cars at their large parking garage.
The good news is, today I am going tour you around at this one luxurious hotel! Before it was officially launched and opened to the public, I was privileged to have a glimpse of what it has to offer. Together with other bloggers and media, we toured the place and had taste of luxury for a day. The photo below is the entrance to the Sky Tower exhibiting a Ben Cab sculpture
The Sky Tower features two restaurants. The first one is the Waterside Restobar where we had our lunch. They served absolutely sumptuous dishes that'll leave you wanting for more. Waterside Restobar sources the best local products, which are transformed into Latin American and Mediterranean delicacies. The dining experience is enhanced with a wide range of tapas alongside classic cocktails and spirits and an extensive selection of wines from the restaurant’s own wine cellar. The creative menu is complemented by a stylish atmosphere, complete with an excellent view of Manila Bay.
These are just some of the dishes that was generously served to us. I especially love their tapas and beef !
For dessert we had two options: The chocolate tart raspberry jelly and the pineapple ravioli chili & sorbet. The chocolate tart looks so delish but so sad I was not able to try it. (-.-) The pineapple however tastes good too especially if you are not really into sweets.
After lunch, our tour started and was lead by these two beautiful people which I forgot the names :( . Our first stop was the second restaurant called the Oasis Garden Café. The Oasis Garden Café is set against a relaxing garden setting overlooking two waterfalls where one can have a leisurely breakfast, a quick business lunch or cocktails under the stars.
True to it's name, this place is a breathe of fresh air. It is very relaxing and the designs are dynamic and fun. Add to that the verdant greenery and the sound of waterfalls that plays along with music at the grand piano, adds drama to this place.
Light Snacks and Afternoon Tea Menu were served in the Garden Oasis. Look at these desserts they have! Mouthwatering isn't it? During the tour, we actually flocked this place just to have a photo of these sweet sweet temptations! They were well presented and decorated as if it was especially made for you and calling your name. HAHA!
Another thing I love in Oasis Garden Cafe is the fact that it has a skylight! Imagine yourself having a late night snack at this mini gem overlooking the twinkling stars. It would be a perfect place to unwind and relax.
We found this absolutely breathe-taking wall on our way to our next stop. The wall is decorated with colorful plastic flowers. I can't help but have a quick photo-op at it.
We passed through this gorgeous gallery too of countless and different faces of Mona Lisa. This exhibit however will only be on display until January 2015 so if I were you, you better hurry and catch this while it is still here. (^-^)
Our next agenda was to take a glimpse of Solaire Sky Tower suites! We took an elevator and this stunning ceiling details caught my attention. Have you noticed the gold sheets? Now that's luxury!
