BEAUTIFUL BATAAN. Hello again from beautiful Bataan. As a continuation of our first night in Bataan, allow me to share our full day experience at the Montemar Beach Club in Bagac Bataan. Our first night was all about rest and relaxation. We ate, watched the sunset, and sat on the sand under the moonlit. As for our full day the next day, its all about fun, swimming and a lot more of swimming, haha.
Our day started really early. Pao and I woke up at dawn to see the sunrise at the beach front but to our surprise, the sun was behind us, opposite the beach front. So basically, we didn't really enjoyed it but we did have a pleasant view of the pinkish dreamy sunrise behind the coconut trees. When the sun was finally up, we head back to our room to get ready for breakfast.
For breakfast, we had a buffet provided by the resort for free. We had a typical Filipino breakfast. I had tapa, tuyo, tomato salad and egg. It was delicious and very Filipino which is really unique because we seldom experience this at other hotels and resorts.
After breakfast, we had a quick roam within the resort to enjoy some of their facilities. We found this really cute tree house with a monkey bridge which connects to another tree house. Of course we cant miss having a quick photo-op. That's Tita Amy (Pao's mom) looking like a beauty queen hehe.
Our next activity was, swimming! And that includes playing sand balls and doing some sand sculptures. HAHA! Thats our pretty baby Trixie which we magically turn into a mermaid! HAHA.
Ohhh.,., tropics! So lucky we have lots of beaches in the Philippines.
Pao captured this tiny creature. So cute! Baby crab! I find it really cool how its eyes are actually focused on the camera. As if he's making a pose.
Remember this bar tables from my previous Bataan travelogue? At night it looks like a sculptured glass here's how it actually looks like during daytime. (^-^)
Showing off my giant glass. Harhar, that's actually the bar table from the photo above.
We went to this one part of the shore and the waters are super clear! This part of the shore is peaceful and there's not much tourists around so we took our chance for some OOTD shots which you prolly saw on my previous post (here).
My love in action! HEHE., After swimming and photo-shoot, we head back to the resort and guess what?
We went SWIMMING again! LOL. This time in the resort's pool. We spent the rest of our morning in here practicing my swim with my two coaches, Pao and his little sister, Trixie. LOL.
At about lunch time, we went back to our room and packed. We had to leave early since Bataan is a long drive from Manila. Our getaway was rather short but one of the best memories I will always remember.
Before we totally left, we toured the resort one last time and took some ootd at the tree house. (See post here)
This is how the resort rooms looks like. It was pretty! Love how they incorporated nature with their design.
Aside from pools, tree houses, pocket gardens, they also have playgrounds for children. Trixie played here few minutes before we left. So sad we had to leave but it was truly a great experience seeing Bataan for the first time. Til' next time Bataan! (^-^)
