astoria palawan

Last October 18, 2016, I was invited to the grand launch of the newest addition to Astoria's ever growing Hotels and Resorts’ portfolio of leisure and entertainment properties, the Palawan Waterpark by Astoria. It is a 4000 square meter property located in San Rafael, 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Puerto Princesa. Basically the idea is to create a place where you can both enjoy working and playing at the same time. Astoria have already other resorts located in Boracay, Bohol and this time they are bringing it to one of the top tourist destination in the country, Palawan.

The event's set-up was themed after Astoria Palawan's newest resort. I love how everything has a lot of beach vibe in it that it makes me want to go on a beach holiday in the middle of October!! There are beach balls, seashells, jelly fish, a huge whale on the stage, bubble balloons at the ceiling, and even a mermaid at the entry hall. They even served seafood for dinner.

I was seated at table number 9 along with other bloggers and I am happy to meet a few. While waiting for the event to start, I walked around to take few photos when suddenly the famous Tito Boy Abunda entered at the receiving area right in front of me. He poses with the mermaid at the entry hall and then everybody had their photos with him. As "introvert" as I was, I ended up (like all the time) loosing my chance of having a photo with a celebrity. This happens every time! Someone help me overcome my shyness. :'( Tito Boy was even seated next to our table but still I wasn't able to score a photo with him. *cries*

The program started with an entertaining beach themed dance number, then a presentation of the the Newest Astoria Palawan. The presentation includes the resort's design, hotel rooms and facilities which will surely cater the needs and provide enjoyment to their clients.

The presentation was then followed by a speech of Tito Boy's experience with Astoria. There is also a photo contest and 5 or 6 lucky guests won a 2 days and 3 nights stay at Astoria Palawan. The program ended with a toast for the successful event and of course the newest Astoria Palawan.

Aaaaannndd... here's my only photo from the event TAKEN at the...*drumroll* ... TOILET! Ok fine, bye. Next time I'll bring with me my personal photographer, a.k.a. Instagram Boyfriend. (^.^) Till next time!!!

PS: Thank you Astoria Palawan for inviting me here. xoxo
